FUN DAY OFF SCHOOL 

Adventure Sail - Full Day Sailing

Course Fee:$50 Members, $70 Non- Members

Ages 7-14yrs

Required Prerequisite: Previous Intro, Beginner or Summer Session


This fun program explores the waters of the East End of St Croix from a variety of watercraft, including, Optis, Sunfish and 420s.  Sailors enjoy sailing games and adventures around Teague Bay and neighboring bays. Sailors will also increase sailing experience and improve on sailing and nautical skills! We emphasize the importance of teamwork, respect, and safety in lessons. Our number one goal is to pass on our passion for the sport of sailing to the next generation of St. Croix Sailors.  


Student requirements are:

  • Provide a U.S. Coast Guard approved Type III Personal Flotation

Device (PFD) with a plastic whistle attached.

  • Swim 20 yards while wearing a PFD.


Suggested items to bring daily

  • Lunch, Snacks and Beverages (Galley will be open)

  • Sunscreen

  • Sun Shirt and, Hat 

  • Closed Toe Shoes

  • Change of Clothes

  • Swimsuit and Towel


Please Note:  The Adventure Sail Program will need a minimum of 5 children to hold the session.  A maximum class size of 10. A wait list will be established after maximum class size is reached, additional spots may open depending on level of interest and instructor availability.


SCYC Staff are not responsible for children outside of program hours.

Green Fleet Sailing will still take place at 3:45pm
