The St. Croix Yacht Club is looking for Volunteers that are interested in being more involved with the sport of Sailing!

We are looking for 12 volunteers: (see below if this volunteer job is for you!)

*VOLUNTEER DATE:  Sunday Sept. 8th 2019*

9:00am - 5ish - Even an Hour or Two Helps!

 -No sailing experience needed, but welcomed.

-Some will be on a powerboat for most of the day, some boats have shade....some do not.

-Not all Roles require being on the water! 

-There are many different roles within the Race Committee:(one of these roles could be you!)

-Flag person

-Timer

-Horn/whistle Person

-Photographer

-Recorder

-Boat Driver

-Safety boat

-Tend to the Buoys

- and more!

-A great way to get more involved and a good step in the door to getting on a sailboat!

-Parents.......This is the easiest way for you to see your children sailing up close! AND you will get a better understanding of the sport of sailing!

This will be on a First Come First Serve basis, a wait list is welcomed!  There will be plenty of more opportunities for all to get involved!

MISSION STATEMENT

The Club is formed for the express purpose of promoting interest and activity in the ownership, racing and cruising of yachts and small boats; of providing a meeting place for members whose common interest lies in ships and the sea; of augmenting the recreational facilities and visitor attractions of the island; of exchange and courtesies with other yacht clubs of the United States and Caribbean islands, and of extending to visiting yachtsmen the hospitality of St. Croix.
