The St. Croix Yacht Club Host Sailing Regattas throughout the Year. The Regattas range from one day events to multiple days, from one class events to multiple events in class that range from the Optimist to Keelboats. Regattas: Town Trips - Races that happen throughout the year that start from the St. Croix Yacht Club to a Destination. Enjoy Lunch and then sail back to the St. Croix Yacht Club Crucian Open - Multiclass Dinghy Regatta, generally hosted late January, early February ISCA / ILCA Open - A Single-handed event that will be hosted on Memorial Day Weekend. *This event is looking into evolving into a Multiclass Event that invites sailors from nearby Islands to come compete in a Team Format* Friday Night Blows - On the last Friday of every month, during the late afternoon hours, there is a series of dinghy races inside the Teague Bay Harbor. The races are run from the end of the Dock! Spectator friendly and a nice sail for all. Back To School Regatta - A Single day event, that is host around the beginning of September. This is a multi Class event geared toward dinghies and beginner sailors. Chandler Memorial - A two-day multi Class event in dinghies. Usually hosted around early November Commodore's Alumni Regatta - A single day event, primarily sailed in 420's / ILCA. An event for older sailors of the SCYC and current Sailors to get together during the Holidays to enjoy a day on the water in Teague Bay. Usually hosted around Christmas ( Late December) We also host other Regatta's as they get suggested or if members of the SCYC want to organize a Regatta!
