SCYC Galley and Club Protocols:

Club Rules for COVID-19 : 3/1/2021

· Masks on while in the facility

Only exceptions(eating/drinking while seated or during active exercise)

· Take handwashing precautions & use hand sanitizer stations

(may be found throughout the club)

• No alcohol may be sold after 11 p.m. and all establishments must close by midnight

• Serving alcohol at bar counters limited to those seated at bar. There will be no loitering in the bar area.)

• Live music and DJs are allowed in licensed establishments until midnight, and live bands must be set up with social distancing of at least 10 feet between the band and patrons.

· No dancing inside or outside of any establishments that operate with a bar license

· Beaches will be closed from 4PM-6AM Friday, Saturday-Sunday / Holidays
· Adhere to Social distancing
· Seating is limited 75% capacity for occupancy: up to 50 people
· Tables must be 6ft apart
· Limit of 50 people for a mass gathering on property

We need everyone’s cooperation to practice common courtesy for those around you. So that we can stay safe while being able to keep SCYC open and fun for the membership.

MISSION STATEMENT

The Club is formed for the express purpose of promoting interest and activity in the ownership, racing and cruising of yachts and small boats; of providing a meeting place for members whose common interest lies in ships and the sea; of augmenting the recreational facilities and visitor attractions of the island; of exchange and courtesies with other yacht clubs of the United States and Caribbean islands, and of extending to visiting yachtsmen the hospitality of St. Croix.
