Adult Learn to Sail
Introductory classes to be held at the St. Croix Yacht Club for adults 18 and older. Classes will be scheduled by the instructor to fulfill 12 hours of training. All Classes will be taught by U.S. Sailing Certified Instructors. No more than 4 sailors will be registered per class, no less than 3. Classes will be taught in Club owned Rhodes 19's.
Student requirements are:
- Able to swim 50 yards and pass a swim test.
- Provide a U.S. Coast Guard approved Type III Personal Flotation Device (PFD) with a plastic whistle attached.
Course fee $150.00 per person Refundable Damage Deposit of $50.00 (please submit as a separate check) Make checks payable to St. Croix Yacht Club.
Tuition fee includes: a. Textbook b. Log Book
SCHEDULE
*In times of inclimate weather, classes may need to be rescheduled. Some Flexibility in scheduling is also available if more than one student cannot attend a class.
