Notice of Race (NOR)

RULES

The Regatta will be governed by the Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS), the regulations of the Caribbean Sailing Association (CSA), the CSA Minimum Safety Requirements, the Virgin Islands Sailing Association (VISA), the International J-24 Class Association (IJCA) Rules as modified by the Caribbean J-24 Class Association, and IC-24 class rules, except as any of those are changed by the sailing instructions. The Regatta is designated Category C.

The organizing authority reserves the right to combine, cancel, sub-divide or rearrange classes.

ENTRY

Eligible entrants may enter by completing the St. Croix Yacht Club (SCYC) registration form and submitting the entry, with payment, by mail, fax, or web entry. Eligibility requirements for boats are a current CSA certificate.

SAILING INSTRUCTIONS

Sailing Instructions will be available at the Check In table at the St. Croix Yacht Club:

Friday, 8 February 1000 - 1800 hours

US Customs & Immigration officials will be at the St. Croix Yacht Club:

Friday, 8 February 1200 - 1900 hours

COURSES

Racing will take place in the waters north east of St. Croix.. Courses to be sailed will be included in the sailing instructions.

SCORING

The Low Point Scoring system, Appendix A, will apply. A2 is modified so that no scores will be excluded. There may be as many as twelve races, of which three shall be completed to constitute a series.

PRIZES

Prize giving will take place in the Regatta tent
