Why should you become a member of the St. Croix Yacht Club?
| We race: |
|
Each year, the club sponsors blue-water races for boats over 22' long. Classes usually are: CSA racing (with or without spinnakers) and multi-hulls.
Small boat series are scheduled throughout the year for Rhodes 19' class, beach cats, lasers, sunfish, 420's and optimist prams

| We cruise: |
|
Several Cruise and rendezvous events are planned each year from a barbeque at Buck Island to sailing events in St. John or the BVI's and other weekends at other beautiful anchorages. |
| We train: |
|
Juniors are eligible to enter both our junior sailing program during the summer as well as our year round one design series. Special courses for adults are offered from time to time according to demand. |
| We socialize: |
|
Throughout the year, the entertainment committee sponsors a variety of social, functions featuring catered dinners, buffets, theme parties, luncheons, fun and games... a full schedule of all kinds of opportunities to enjoy getting to know each other. And there are special events for children. |
Privileges of Membership
Our club offers a beautiful setting, a pier and slips for 31 boats, a sizable protected mooring are, a lovely sand beach with its separate swimming area, storage areas for small boats and gear, and a clubhouse with locker and shower facilities.
In addition, the galley serves luncheons from Wednesday through Sunday from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. Our bar is open from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm on weekdays, and to 6:00 pm on weekends. All food and beverage purchases are by chits only. Members have guest privileges in accordance with our house rules.

How to Join
- Interest two resident yacht club members other that Officers or Directors in sponsoring you. They are responsible for guiding you through the membership process.

Our membership includes a broad spectrum of ages and backgrounds, but we all share the love of the sea with its related marine activities. If these are your interests too, we will look forward to welcoming you.
